Allied Esports Poker Assets Generate $1.5M Ahead Of Element Sale

Allied Esports Entertainment has reportedly lost $45.5 million in 2020. Despite this, the company’s poker assets, World Poker Tour, brought in $1.5 million in 2020.

Even with the money brought in from World Poker Tour, Allied Esports experienced a down year. The company’s net losses in 2020 were $45.1 million, representing a 170% increase in losses from 2019 to 2020.

Allied Esports is scheduled to sell World Poker Tour to Element Partners later this year for $105 million. Previously, Allied Esports said it would sell this asset to Bally’s Corporation between a bidding war broke out between the organizations.
