A study conducted by the University of Tampere showed an increase in the number of gamers in Finland. The report revealed a 2.5% increase in the number of Finnish gamers across all demographics in the country since 2018.
The study also showed that a staggering 98.2% of Finnish people play games on a “semi-regular” basis. Furthermore, it was discovered that Finns spend seven hours a week playing video games on average.
Even though gaming is up in the country, Finns are spending less money on video games. Finns spend €10.50 ($12.78) a week on games, which is down from €11 ($13.39) just three years ago.
