The first esports facility in Brooklyn officially opened its doors near the end of June. The Bushwick-based venue, called BrookLAN, is now open to the public at 339 Troutman Street.
“From viewing parties to various community events and tournaments; we will have something for everyone,” BrookLAN co-founder Alec Polsley said in a statement. “We want this to be a home for the community.”
BrookLAN was originally supposed to open its doors in May of 2020. However, the COVID-19 Pandemic delayed the opening until this past June.
The facility is open seven days a week. The venue features a restaurant and bar, PC and gaming consoles, a practice room, a gaming arena, and a streaming bay.
