On September 30th, PlayStation announced it had officially acquired Bluepoint Games. This news came after Sony revealed it had sold 1.4 million copies of its Demon’s Souls game since the title’s release.
“With each of its projects, Bluepoint has raised the bar on console-defining visuals and gameplay, and the studio’s vast expertise in world-building and character creation will be a huge plus for future PlayStation Studios properties,” said Hermen Hulst, the Head of PlayStation Studios.
Bluepoint Games is an American publisher that was founded in Austin, Texas in 2006. The organization is famous for producing hit titles like Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection, Shadow of the Colossus, and Demon’s Souls.
