Washington Justice Reportedly Trying To Acquire Chicago CDL Slot

According to Dot Esports‘ sources, Washington Esports Ventures, which is the parent company of the Washington Justice, is attempting to negotiate a deal that would see the organization acquire the Chicago Call of Duty League slot. Furthermore, this proposal would see the team relocated to Washington D.C.

Dot Esports is reporting that Washington is one of two organizations having negotiations with NRG Esports, the owner of OpTic Gaming and OpTic Chicago. While nothing is official yet, sources say “there’s optimism… that the deal will move forward.”

The Washington Justice is an American esports organization that was founded in 2018. The team currently competes in the Western Division of the Overwatch League.
