English Soccer Player Acquires Audacity Esports

Ubisoft recently announced that the Manchester United soccer player Jesse Lingard had acquired Audacity Esports. The financial details of this deal have not been revealed at this time.

As part of the acquisition, the organization’s Rainbow Six Siege roster will be rebranded from Team JLE to JLINGZ Esports. Additionally, the Rainbow Six Siege team will spend next season competing in the UK and Ireland Nationals (UKIN).

“My JLINGZ brand has been growing for a number of years but to finally dive into esports and add my own teams to JLINGZ is incredible,” said Lingard. “Esports has everything for me it’s fast-paced and competitive, the community is amazing and it’s been great to have Ubisoft’s support on this journey too. Watch this space, JLINGZ esports is going all the way!”

Jesse Lingard is a 28-year-old soccer player that was born in Warrington, England. Over the last ten years as a pro soccer player, Lingard has spent eight seasons playing for Manchester United.
