Ninjas In Pyjamas (NIP) recently unveiled a five-year partnership agreement with the blockchain company Zilliqa. This deal is aimed at creating virtual experiences for gaming fans and cryptocurrency enthusiasts.

The two entities will also join forces for jersey branding and in-person/virtual events. This means that Zilliqa’s logo and branding will be prominently displayed on NIP’s CS:GO and Rainbow Six: Siege team jerseys. Additionally, Zilliqa will be present for the PGL Major 2021 that is being held in Stockholm, Sweden.

“The physical and digital worlds are merging, and it has left no one behind. Esports is a great example of this. Over the past year, aficionados looking for new means of engagement realized how esports could be enjoyed as a remote social experience with peers. Crypto joined in, adding immersive, play-to-earn components to this world,” said Matt Dyer, the Head of Growth at Zilliqa. “Zilliqa didn’t miss a beat and has been amping up our efforts to revolutionize the creator economy. Now that we have the opportunity to make our mark with gaming legends Ninjas in Pyjamas, we have no doubt that this collaboration will bring new people and more adoption into the cryptoverse.”

NIP is a Swedish gaming organization that was founded in 2000. The company has teams and athletes participating in popular video games like CS:GO, Rainbow Six: Siege, VALORANT, and so on.
