Zenni Partners With AXLE-R8 “Rocket League” Team

The online eyewear retail company Zenni recently announced it had agreed to a partnership with Beasley Esports’ Rocket League team, AXLE-R8. As a result, Zenni’s logo will now appear on AXLE-R8 jerseys and Beasley Esports’ online broadcasts.

“We continue to see a strong reaction from our investments in esports and gaming, and this was an attractive opportunity to expand into another major gaming title and align with a team determined to win immediately,” said Sean Pate, Brand Marketing & Communications Officer for Zenni. “Rocket League is a family-friendly title that reaches a broad audience and is easy to digest as a new fan.”

AXLE-R8 was founded thanks in part to The Search, a talent competition organized by Beasley Esports. This event series helped AXLE-R8 secure a roster of competitive Rocket League players and coaches.

Beasley Esports was founded in 2018. The organization serves as the gaming division of Beasley Media Group, which is an owner and operator of numerous radio stations across the United States.
