IndiEV recently announced the company would begin producing an electric car that has a PC built into it. The Indi One prototype electric car is expected to be launched sometime towards the end of next year.
According to IndiEV, this will not be any typical computer. It will be the “first vehicle to have an integrated supercomputer” built into it. The company said that this device will allow users to have access to a variety of gaming and entertainment applications.
An unnamed marketing representative for IndiEV spoke with writers at The Verge during a Zoom meeting. During this conversation, the person said that the gaming computer will be compatible with “any triple-A game, any virtual reality game, any augmented reality game.”
A hand-built prototype of the vehicle shows that it has two 15-inch touchscreens on the dashboard. At this time, the Indi One car will have a starting price of roughly $45,000.
