Trailmix Ltd recently launched the casual mobile game Love & Pies. The title can now be downloaded for free on the Apple App Store and the Google Play Store.
In the game, a single mother, Amelia, leaves the big city to go and live in her mother’s countryside cafe. However, when players arrive at the house, they discover their mother missing and the structure on fire. From there, gamers must investigate the mystery of the fire to find out where the mom went, all while fixing the cafe and serving customers.
“At its core, you are in the kitchen merging together a ton of cafe treats to serve to customers. That’s the merge component,” said company co-founder Tristan Clark. “You’re doing that to restore your mum’s cafe that has been burned to the ground under mysterious circumstances. Your mum is missing. And there’s a whole cast of characters around, some to help you and some who antagonize you, all of whom are suspects. We call it a cozy telenovela.”
Trailmix Ltd is a London, England-based gaming organization. The company was first founded in 2018.
