X7 Esports recently announced it had acquired the British organization Absolved for an undisclosed amount of money. As a result of this deal, Absolved’s founder (TJ Hardwood) and manager (Robin Cheng) have been named the company’s COO and Head of League of Legends, respectively.
“We did very well with a small team at Absolved and so pooling our resources, time, and expertise into X7 was the easiest decision for us to move forward and evolve into a bigger and better organization,” said Harwood. “I am looking forward to working with the rest of the team, and I can’t wait to see what we’re able to achieve in the near future. I will ensure internal operations are handled to a high standard, whilst also bringing a wealth of ideas and a new perspective that aligns with the vision of X7.”
X7 Esports is an Isle of Man-based gaming organization that was founded last year. The company is best known for its competitive League of Legends teams.
