Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy – Definitive Edition was officially released for consoles and PCs on November 11th, 2021. However, the game’s debut was not without controversy after the Rockstar Games Launcher experienced problems causing the game to malfunction on PCs.
It took a few days, but the issue was eventually resolved. On November 14th, the launcher was fixed, and Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy – Definitive Edition was once again available for purchase and download on PCs.
“We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience,” Rockstar Games said in a public statement. “We are also working to improve and update overall performance as we move forward. We would like to thank everyone for their patience as we resolve these issues.”
Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy – Definitive Edition can be purchased and played now on supported console and PC devices. A mobile version of the game will be released on iOS and Android devices during the first or second quarter of 2022.
