Ninjas in Pyjamas recently announced it agreed to a two-year partnership with the CS:GO skins marketplace GamerPay. This deal aims to eliminate online scams related to in-game assets such as skins.
Additionally, this deal will see GamerPay serve as the digital partner of NIP’s CS:GO roster and the main partner of the organization’s academy team. Moreover, GamerPay will be the official skin trading partner of NIP.
“We already see that we are making a difference for the gamers,” said Martin Lykke Suhr, Co-founder of GamerPay. “Witnessing all the great feedback and positivity from the Counter-Strike community shows that we’re doing it right — unfortunately online scamming is much easier than in the real world, and most commonly we see that it’s young gamers under 18 who are affected.”
GamerPay and Ninjas in Pyjamas revealed that they have spoken with at least 5,000 individuals that have reportedly been the victims of skin-related video game scams. This partnership aims to bring an end to this rampant issue in the gaming community.
