Santikos Entertainment recently unveiled a partnership with the group gaming platform Electric Gamebox. As a result of this deal, Electric Gamebox will create gaming kiosks that will be stationed at Santikos theaters in Texas. The first gaming station debuted at Santikos’ newest movie theater complex in Cibolo.
Electric Gamebox games will be available to play in glass-paneled smart rooms called Gamebox gaming pods. Each room can host between two to six players with video game sessions lasting between 15 minutes and one hour.
“Our partnership with Santikos allows us to be at the heart of entertainment spaces for moviegoers,” said Will Dean, the co-founder of Electric Gamebox.
The Cibolo gaming center officially opened its doors on October 29th. It currently serves as the second Texas-based esports location for Electric Gamebox.
