ESI Digital Winter returned for its sixth edition on December 1st and 2nd, also marking the return of the fourth edition of the ESI Hall of Fame. The conference brought in attendees from all around the globe to network, explore, and be educated in the esports space. Following ESI Digital Summer, Digital Winter brought more of the same, top-notch networking, education, debate, and content.
“We are delighted to bring back the Esports Insider Hall of Fame to conclude what has been an unbelievable series of digital events in 2021,” said Sam Cooke, Managing Director of Esports Insider prior to the event. “It’s always important to reflect and celebrate some of the industry’s greatest successes and we can’t wait to announce who will be inducted into our Class of 2021. Also, I want to thank all of our partners who have helped make ESI Digital Winter possible. I can’t wait for attendees to [virtually] see what we have in store!”
The ESI Hall of Fame, an ongoing project which is part of a partnership with Gaming Malta, was created to recognize and award those individuals who have built, molded, and shaped the esports industry. Past Hall of Fame inductees include Naz Aletaha (Riot Games), Marcus ‘Djwheat’ Graham (Twitch), and Jason Lake (Complexity Gaming), amongst others.
