According to esports industry insiders, Microsoft has developed two new ways for Xbox users to expand their devices’ storage capabilities. Microsoft announced that it has worked with Seagate to launch 512 GB and 2 TB storage expansion cards for Xbox Series X|S consoles.
“The Seagate Storage Expansion Card for Xbox Series X|S delivers an additional 1TB of external memory while maintaining the same peak speed and performance as the console’s internal SSD,” reads a Microsoft product description.
The 512 GB storage expansion card can be pre-ordered now for $139.99 and will be released in mid-November. Meanwhile, The Seagate 2TB storage expansion card can be pre-ordered in mid-November for $399.99. The original 1 TB card can be bought for $219.99.
