Sega Unveils New Line Of Colognes

On November 18th, Sega did something completely unexpected. The company announced that it would be releasing a line of colognes based on scents from famous video game characters and franchises developed by the organization.

Three scents were launched by the business. The Sonic the Hedgehog “Blue Blur” Unisex Cologne is a combination of citrus, grapefruit zest, lemon, and lime that is topped with the scent of an ocean breeze and chilled melon fade. The Shenmue “Tobacco and Gold” Unisex Cologne is a “highly masculine” fragrance with notes of cardamom, bergamot, golden tobacco, deep orris, sage, and a strong patchouli base. The Yakuza/Ryū ga Gotoku “Bourbon and Smoke” Unisex Cologne smells of antique oak, cedarwood, beeswax infused with smoky bourbon, leathery rose, and scorching pimento.

All three colognes are available for purchase either through the SEGA UK or SEGA EU stores. The products have a starting price of roughly $40.

The Profit‘s Take:

If you ever wondered what Sonic the Hedgehog smells like (or what he puts on before a date) now we know. Who buys this? Why would people want to smell like a sweaty hedgehog? Hopefully, this will help eliminate Axe body spray from high schools across America, but I think that’s unlikely.
