On October 26th, Huge! Play Inc. announced it had received an investment from Overwolf. Additionally, the two organizations have joined forces to integrate GameBud, a program that creates talking-animatronic game-connected characters, directly into Overwolf PC games.
“Our partnership with Overwolf means that we now have the ability to link GameBud with many of the world’s biggest PC games, and our new GameBud products can seamlessly integrate and react real-time to gameplay in a whole new ecosystem of beloved games,” said Kevin Mowrer, the Founder of Huge! Play. “The opportunities are truly countless with GameBud products. Gamers can expect to see the GameBud partnered with some of the world’s most popular PC games next year, and in the years to follow.”
GameBud is the world’s first technology that creates talking-animatronic game-connected characters in video games. The most famous use of GameBud technology came in the mobile game Talking Tom & Friends following Huge! Play’s partnership with Outfit7.
Huge! Play Inc. is a global, direct-to-fan premium gaming company. The privately-held organization was founded in 2019 and is based in Barrington, Rhode Island.
