On November 30th, Blizzard’s Senior Test Analyst, Jessica Gonzalez, revealed in a Twitter post that she resigned from her position with the company. Gonzalez will officially be leaving Activision-Blizzard on December 10th.
Gonzalez rose to fame thanks to her role with ABetterABK, which is a workers’ alliance that is responsible for employee walkouts as well as other types of activism and protest at Activision-Blizzard. According to an anonymous source, “she was the spark that started the explosion” at the company.
Activision-Blizzard is still reeling from the recent allegations of sexual assault brought up against them. Jen Oneal is another high-ranking executive that recently left the business due to its unhealthy working environment.
