ESPL Agrees To Partnership With Homebois

The Esports Players League recently announced it had agreed to a partnership with the Malaysian gaming company Homebois. This deal will see the two organizations work together to host the first-ever Academy Championship this month in Malaysia.

“This is absolutely great news and also in line with our goal in providing a platform for all players to hone their skills and talents in pursuing a career as a professional player in the esports industry,” said Tuan Azrin Izzuddin Tuan Abu Bakar, the Project Director of HomeBois.

Details about the prize pool have not been disclosed at this time. Registrations for The Academy Championship, which opened on December 1st, are available for all Malaysians over the age of 16. The qualifying stage of the event will feature four teams, with the top two teams from each league advancing to the next round.

Homebois is an “esports culture brand” based in Malaysia that operates at the intersection of gaming and clothing. The organization has teams competing in hit games like Mobile Legends: Bang Bang and PUBG Mobile.
