Arnold Hur Named New CEO Of Gen.G

On December 15th, Gen.G announced that Chief Operating Officer Arnold Hur had been appointed as the organization’s CEO. This move will see former CEO Chris Park shift into an advisory role with the company focused on the sports and education sectors.

“It’s an exciting time for Gen.G and its unique position within the esports industry,” said Kevin Chou, chairman of Gen.G, in a statement. “Arnold has built incredible momentum around the organization to capitalize on some of the most exciting game-changing opportunities that are emerging.”

Arnold Hur was the third person to join Gen.G after founder Kevin Chou and Kent Wakeford launched the company. He has been working for the organization since 2017.
