On November 22nd, Opera GX, which is a special version of the Opera web browser, announced it had launched the Gamer Graveyard metaverse. This online service allows users to create digital tombstones that send messages to games, other gamers, or, even, video game developers.
The Gamer Graveyard is a 2D, 8-bit style virtual shared space. The program comes with a tombstone creator where users can write messages to friends, add eulogies, and mark the last time they played a game. Once created, the tombstone is placed in the graveyard where it can be shared on social media platforms or be sent directly to a friend.
The Gamer Graveyard can be accessed now. It is not clear how long this program will be available on Opera GX.
