The decentralized music streaming service Audius recently built an FM radio tower on its blockchain-based website. As a result, Audius’ music library will now be integrated into the DeFi Land gaming platform.

This move aims to increase exposure to tokenized music models that are run by Audius. Tokenizing music copyrights allows artists to put any percent they wish on the blockchain so that they can sell a portion of royalty revenues to fans while opening up their music to a whole new type of cryptocurrency investor.

“There are more than 2.5 billion gamers around the world,” said the DFL Erwin, founder of DeFi Land, in a joint statement with Audius. “Integrations like these are very valuable for mass adoption because they offer a unique user experience for easier and friendlier participation,” he said.

Audius’ native token experienced a major surge this year. In fact, the Audius audio token increased by 932% in value during 2021. The token’s trading price was $1.60 on December 10th.
