Riot Games recently announced it had extended its data partnership with Bayes Esports up until 2024. As a result, Bayes will continue to be the exclusive data distribution partner for “virtually all” League of Legends events and competitions.

“The forefront of our partnership was initially focused on the distribution and commercialization of data to third parties,” said John Knauss, Technical Product Manager at Riot Games. “But through great conversations with Bayes Esports, the community, and the teams, we have learned that together we can achieve so much more to support the continuous growth and success of LoL Esports.”

Riot Games first partnered with Bayes Esports in 2019. Throughout this partnership, Bayes has helped Riot develop its Team Data Portal and has expanded the organization’s data services to other regional leagues.

Bayes Esports is one of the world’s most famous esports data firms. The Berlin, Germany-based company was first founded in 2018.
