Alpha Esports Tech Announces Executive Management Change

Alpha Esports Tech announced that the current Chief Operating Officer, Brian Wilneff, has been promoted to the position of Chief Executive Officer. Wilneff founded and created GamerzArena, which has become one of the largest esports platforms and communities for gamers in the world. As Chief Operating Officer, Wilneff has focused on building relationships across the esports industry and was instrumental in securing many of Alpha’s partnerships. He also played an integral part in Alpha’s entry into the metaverse.

Wilneff replaces Matthew Schmidt, who is resigning from the position of CEO effective immediately. Alpha Esports revealed that Schmidt will be continuing in his role as a member of the board of directors.
