SPORTFIVE has partnered with Immortals to be the esports outfit’s new exclusive global commercial sales agency. The move comes as Immortals relocates its HQ from the L.A. area to metro Detroit as part of an effort to become the esports brand of the Great Lakes region. SPORTFIVE will develop strategies for partnership development and sponsor integration across Immortals portfolio of esports teams and streamers including its pro rosters in all three major Riot Games titles, League of Legends, VALORANT, and Wild Rift.
“Immortals is on the attack and we’re experiencing a period of rapid growth,” said Jordan Sherman, CEO of Immortals. “We’re relocating our business operations to the Great Lakes Region, we’re actively bringing on new partners, we’re expanding into new gaming titles, and executing a specific approach that makes us a ‘1 of 1’ in the gaming ecosystem. SPORTFIVE has been a great partner in seeing the differentiated value proposition that we can bring to brand partners. We’re excited to continue to tap into their unique network to help drive our business forward during this growth period.”
Immortals last week secured its first new partner since the move to the Great Lakes in Fetch.ai. The organization has also established partnerships with Progressive, Toyota, Nitto Tire, Bud Light, American Express, and HotelPlanner.
SPORTFIVE is the agency of record for a number of prominent esports entities, including the League of Legends circuit in Europe, Riot Games South Asia, and T1 Entertainment & Sports. The agency also recently secured a deal between London-based organization Fnatic and apparel brand Asos.
