MKESports Alliance recently announced it had agreed to a partnership with New Horizons of Wisconsin. Through this deal, the two organizations aim to develop an esports and information technology (IT) workforce development program in the midwestern American state.

This project will provide younger generations with an easy entry point into the esports and IT career fields. Additionally, it will create a new talent pool of promising young esports athletes and IT candidates. The five-week program will train and test individuals for technical content while helping participants build skills in areas like desk support and gaming software development.

“Working with Wisconsin’s local workforce development boards, the Wisconsin Workforce Development Association’s Talent Development Council, we’ve assembled an exciting team,” Brandon Tschacher, the founder of MKESports Alliance, said in a press release. “We’ve pulled together training providers with experience and curriculum to help candidates get the skills they need, a pipeline of diverse job seekers looking for opportunities and the employers on the back end looking to hire.”

The MKESports Alliance was founded in November of 2020. The organization focuses on continuously growing the esports industry in Wisconsin and the rest of the United States.
