Independent Games Festival Nominations Announced

Established in 1998, the Independent Games Festival was created to “encourage innovation in game development and to recognize the best independent game developers.” The nominees have now been announced, and the winners will be declared during March’s Games Developers Conference, where winners can scoop up prizes between $2,000-$10,000. Additionally, all finalists receive $1,000 just for being nominated.

Without further ado, here are the categories and the nominees:

Best Student Game:
