Gaming Startup Candivore Completes $10M Funding Round

Israeli gaming startup Candivore announced the conclusion of a $10 million funding round led by Vgames and Tiger Global Management. Candivore is the company behind the popular mobile game Match Masters, which has more than 30 million downloads across both the Google Play Store and Apple App Store, while counting more than 5 million monthly active users playing more than 10 million matches a day.

Candivore plans to use its new funds to promote and attract more players to Match Masters in the United Kingdom through TV ads and online experiences. The game officially launched in the UK on May 27th.

“The mobile gaming space has been booming for years and our journey has been wilder than anything we could have imagined,” said Gal Goldstein, the CEO of Candivore. “As we continue to work passionately to add more features for our players, our continued partnership with Vgames will help our efforts to make Match Masters even more rewarding for our global community of users.”

Match Masters is a PvP match-3 game in which gamers play against live opponents in a turn-based environment. The game features new, different gameplay modes every day, as well as tournaments and events where players can earn rewards.
