Konami has officially announced a new set of dates and the format for the upcoming eFootball Championship 2022, set for this June. The competition will be split into two editions: the Championship Open and the Championship Pro. Each edition will feature its own set of rules and guidelines, as well as its own schedules. 

The Championship Open is a public competition where players will face off in eFootball both on consoles and mobile devices. Meanwhile, the Championship Pro will see eight of Europe’s top professional teams competing in an epic three-week clash. Those eight teams are FC Barcelona, Manchester United, FC Bayern München, Arsenal, Celtic FC, AS Monaco, AS Roma, and Galatasaray.
