ASRock is looking to enter the gaming monitor market with its new Phantom Gaming lineup, which will support AMD Freesync Premium Technology. The company has already registered two products to said lineup, the 34” PG34WQ15R monitor, and the 27” PG27FF monitor.
Here’s a quick look at their specs:
PG34WQ15R
- Size: 34.0″
- LCD Type: VA
- Resolution: 3440×1440
- Range: 48-165 via DisplayPort 48-100 via HDMI
PG27FF
- Size: 27.0″
- LCD Type: IPS
- Resolution: 1920×1080
- Range: 48-165 via DisplayPort 48-165 via HDMI
While the specs don’t yet include data like HDR support or refresh rates, both models are expected to feature AMD’s Freesync Premium Technology, which means they will be running at least 120Hz refresh rate, and should feature HDR support. We’ll just have to wait till final certification for this to be confirmed, although there’s still no timetable for when that might be.
