FaZe Clan Secures Metaverse Partnership

On September 15th, FaZe Clan announced that it had agreed to a strategic partnership with The Sandbox, an incredibly popular metaverse space. This deal will see The Sandbox develop and host a virtual space for FaZe Clan that will be known as FaZe World.

FaZe World will be launched in 2023. The virtual space will feature a variety of experiences and digital goods that connect FaZe Clan content creators and fans.

Moreover, the two sides will be selling digital real estate surrounding FaZe World. These 12×12 digital plots of land in The Sandbox will allow fans to become virtual neighbors with one another. This LAND sale will take place later this year.

“FaZe Clan’s leadership position at the apex of gaming and youth culture presents an ideal opportunity to build bridges and lead the gaming community at large into the metaverse,” said Lee Trink, the CEO of FaZe Clan. “Through FaZe World and our partnership with The Sandbox, our already digitally native fans can experience FaZe Clan in a new immersive way.”

Founded in 2010, FaZe Clan has emerged as one of the most recognizable esports organizations in the world. FaZe has established meaningful partnerships and relationships with many celebrities including Kyler Murray, Lil Yachty, Snoop Dogg, and more.
