Video game reviewer Jason “videogamedunkey” Gastrow recently announced plans to launch his own publishing company with his wife and fellow YouTuber Leah Bee. This company, called Bigmode, aims to help indie gaming projects “stand out” from the rest of the crowd.
“We aren’t just the face of the company. We are the company,” Dunkey said in a video he posted to YouTube. “This is our vision and our number one priority is to publish some of the best games out there. I want Bigmode to act as my seal of approval.”
The official Bigmode website has already gone live to coincide with this announcement. This means developers, teams with pitches, or people with completed games can start engaging with Bigmode right away.
Jason Gastrow has found immense success since launching the videogamedunkey YouTube channel in October of 2010. Since then, he has accumulated more than 7 million followers, generating over 3.5 billion video views.
