A new trailer was recently released for Need For Speed Unbound, the upcoming installment in the popular racing video game franchise. And, globally recognized musician A$AP Rocky will apparently be joining the fun after he appeared in the video that was posted across social media. This officially marks A$AP’s first appearance in a video game.
The trailer shows A$AP stepping out of a custom car and sitting on the vehicle’s hood while his unreleased song, Sh*ttin Me, plays in the background. According to IGN, A$AP Rocky will be featured as an in-game leader in the Takeover Scene co-op mode that is offered.
“I mean A$AP’s kind of a trendsetter in both fashion and music, and he’s also a bit of a rebel, and that is kind of part of the Need for Speed vibe,” said Criterion’s creative director, Kieran Crimmins. “So, it totally made sense to put him in the game and have a game mode that represented what he was about and also give a cool event for players to play as well.”
Need For Speed Unbound will be coming out on December 2nd. The game will be available on Xboxes, PlayStations, and PCs.
