An Invincible Game Is In Development

On October 11th, Skybound Entertainment announced it would be launching several new initiatives to celebrate the 20th anniversary of Invincible, a superhero-based comic book series turned TV show. While most of these initiatives have to do with re-releasing various comics, Skybound Entertainment also said that it will unveil new tabletop games and video games based on the IP.

If this ends up being true, it would mark the first time in Invincible’s 20-year lifespan that the series will be associated with gaming. Unfortunately, since this project was announced quite recently, we don’t have a lot of details on the upcoming game.

Invincible is a comic book series that ran from 2003 to 2018. The story follows Mark Grayson, aka Invincible, a superhero that is the first-born son of Omni-Man, the most powerful person on the planet.

Eventually, the IP was adapted into an adult animated television show for Amazon. After receiving a ton of praise for its writing, storyline, animation, and so on, the series was renewed for a second and third season in April 2021.

As we said earlier, there’s no timetable for the Invincible game. This is also true for season two of the show, which doesn’t have an official release date. But, in the meantime, the first season of Invincible can be streamed now on Amazon Prime Video.
