Herman Miller And Logitech Launch An Affordable, High-End Gaming Chair

On October 6th, the world-famous gaming chair manufacturer, Herman Miller, announced it had agreed to a partnership with Logitech to create a new gaming chair called Vantum. According to Logitech, this will be the organization’s first “performance” chair designed specifically for gamers.

“Over the last three years, Logitech G and Herman Miller have partnered together with a shared vision of delivering high-performance, ergonomic furniture solutions to gamers. We’re excited to move into the next stage of our evolution with this milestone launch,” said Aron Drayer, the Head of Marketing Partnerships for Logitech G. “Together with Herman Miller, our shared passion and drive to give gamers the very best has continued to push our creativity and expertise forward and we couldn’t be more thrilled to present the gaming community with Vantum.”

The Vantum chair comes in three different color patterns: Black/Obsidian, Black/Polar, and Black/Flare. This product has a starting price of $995. Those interested in ordering a chair can do so by visiting the Herman Miller website

The Profit‘s Take:

Most of the Herman Miller-Logitech collaborations have been rebrands of Herman Miller chairs. This is a brand-new chair, though. It looks very Herman Miller-esque while still coming off as a gaming chair. $1,000 is still a lot of money for a chair, but that’s the lower end of the Herman Miller world. I would be interested to see if this collection ends up with a product at the $500 price point. That would be a departure for Herman Miller, and it’s unclear if they could maintain the quality they are known for at that level.
