HAVE NO FEAR BECAUSE SPIDER-MAN 2 IS STILL ON TRACK FOR NEXT YEAR!! Sorry. I got a little carried away.
Insomniac Games, the development company behind the hit 2018 Spider-Man game, recently confirmed that the upcoming sequel will still be coming out in 2023.
In an October 17th social media exchange, a Twitter user explained how they were worried about the state of the upcoming game. Just a few hours later, Insomniac Games responded to the user, reassuring them that the game is still on schedule to come out next year.
“We’re making good progress and it’s still slated for 2023,” Insomniac said. “Showing games takes time, effort, resources, and coordination.”
At this time, an exact release date for Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 has not been announced. The only thing we know regarding the game’s launch is that it will be coming out sometime next year.
It’s understandable that fans may be a little worried about the game. After all, we haven’t gotten any official trailers yet. And, the only time we got a look at the game came during a PlayStation showcase that took place over a year ago.
Either way, if Insomniac Games is telling us there’s no reason to worry, then we should probably believe them… right?
