Gogo Cloud Gaming To Launch Platform For Asian Gamers

Gogo Cloud Gaming, an independent video game developer from Asia, recently announced the organization is launching a new cloud gaming platform to serve Asian Gamers. Xmech is expected to be released around the same time 5G is rolled out across the region.

“There are more than 3 million cloud gaming platform users in Asia currently. GCG feels there is ample room to grow. We are confident we can capture a major portion of cloud gaming enthusiasts with our upcoming service,” said CEO Dion Tan. “We’ve been able to overcome both technical and business challenges over the years, though this by far has been the hardest one. The biggest opportunity here is for smartphone gamers, who comprise the largest share of the Asia gamer audience. We want to connect the games community across Asia to their friends and to more Asian games through Xmech.”

GCG’s remote streaming technology is expected to provide a seamless, lag-free experience for Asian cloud gamers. Furthermore, 5G will revolutionize and transform access to cloud gaming services in Asia.

Gogo Cloud Gaming was founded in Hong Kong in 2015. The company has not yet released an official launch date for Xmech, but it is believed the service will be made public in the third quarter of 2021.
