EBN And PSI Team Up To Launch The University E-League

The Esports Business Network (EBN) recently unveiled a partnership with Prime Sports International (PSI). As part of this deal, the organizations will work together to launch the University E-League (UEL), a college esports league based in Malaysia.

The inaugural UEL season will take place from July 4th to September 12th. PSI and EBN are hoping to register over 300 college esports teams that will compete for a prize pool of $4,833.

“Drawing inspiration from the collegiate sports culture overseas, the vision for UEL is to harness a sense of pride in Malaysian students representing their universities while amplifying the values of healthy competition between higher learning institutions,” said Yong-Chul Yun, the chief executive officer of Prime Sports International. “Working collaboratively with our partners, we envision UEL as a favorable platform not just for students, but for all stakeholders to engage and thrive on.”

Students from all across Malaysia are eligible to participate in the league. Registration for the University E-League is scheduled to close on June 14th.
