Esports Technologies Files Patent For Betting Platform, Gets Added To Russell 3000 And Russell Microcap Indexes

On June 23rd, Esports Technologies Inc. announced it had filed a patent for the company’s betting and esports live streaming technologies. The patent covers proprietary technology across numerous platforms, including Twitch, YouTube, Facebook Gaming, and so on.

Following that news, Esports Technologies revealed the company had been added to the broad-market Russell 3000 Index and the Russell Microcap Index. These additions took effect on June 28th.

Russell Indexes rank the 4,000 largest U.S. stocks by total market capitalization. Russell Indexes are part of FTSE Russell, one of the leading global index providers used to determine institutional investment strategies.
