Celebrity Esports recently announced that the UK-based streaming platform NOW will sponsor a team for the upcoming Celebrity Esports Superstar League. The team will feature Jimmy Carr and Joel Dommett, as well as a lucky fan competition winner.
“NOW is a destination for those who love and live for brilliant entertainment,” said Jamie Schwartz, the Director of Brand, Marketing, and Merchandising at NOW. “This esports sponsorship provides a fantastic opportunity to expand the audience we provide quality entertainment for and engage with a growing gaming community.”
Several teams are expected to be involved in the seven-episode event. The league’s first episode will air on May 28th.
