Ukrainian esports tournament organizer WePlay Esports is now hosting one of the major tournaments in the 2021 Dota 2 circuit. The WePlay AniMajor officially began on June 2nd and runs through June 13th in Kyiv, Ukraine.

The event will feature 18 total teams competing for a prize pool of $500K. However, fans will not be allowed to attend the matches.

The AniMajor signifies WePlay’s first Dota 2 major. It is also the second Dota 2 Pro Circuit (DPC) event to be held so far this year.

This all leads up to The International 10, which will take place in August. This Dota 2 tournament, which is being hosted by Valve, is expected to feature a $40 million prize pool.
