Gaming start-up company Bling recently announced it concluded a seed round of funding on July 5th. It is being reported that this money will allow game developers to give Bitcoin-based rewards to users who play video games.
“I think one reason why we’ve been so successful is because we’ve made it so easy like you’re no longer risking your money,” said Amy Wan, the company’s CEO. “It’s risk-free. It’s like a fun experience that you’re you’re earning some Bitcoin, which you don’t really know how to get into it.”
The seed round featured a strategic investment from Coinbase Ventures. Some of the other companies that participated in funding rounds include Wavemaker Genesis, Gumi Cryptos Capital, and Blocktower Capital.
Bling’s partnership with Coinbase will help the company achieve its goal of creating a fun, money-making gaming experience. Furthermore, Coinbase will provide first-time users with an easy way to enter the fast-growing cryptocurrency market.
