A new interactive gaming exhibit recently opened at the Sci-Port Discovery Center in Shreveport, Louisiana. Game-Port takes a look at the evolution of games and digital gaming over the years.
“We have a unique position as a local leading STEM-based attraction and science center to combine learning and playing in a physical space while using digital elements and technology,” Dianne Clark, the executive director of Sci-Port, said in a statement.
Game-Port is expected to host a series of esports-related programs throughout the summer. This includes a series of video game tournaments as well as a Pokemon Go event on June 19th.
Tickets to Game-Port cost $5 for Sci-Port members and $8 for non-members. These tickets can be purchased either online or in person.
