Nerd Street Gamers Announces Return Of In-Person Events, Unveils Partnership

Nerd Street Gamers recently unveiled plans for the safe return of live events beginning in July. This comes following a decrease in the number of restrictions set in place due to the COVID-19 Pandemic.

“The return of live esports tournaments is critical for competitive integrity and growth of the industry,” said John Fazio, the CEO of Nerd Street Gamers. “I think we’re all ready to get back together and see each other in person, so we’ll do what we do best and lead the charge on providing safe live gaming environments in our Localhost facilities while providing the highest quality event experience to our customers.”

Smaller in-person events will return next month. The organization’s first large-scale, major tournament, the Nerd Street Winter Championships, will be held in Los Angeles this coming January.

On the same day, Nerd Street Gamers revealed it had entered into a partnership with accessories manufacturer Mavix. As a result of the deal, Mavix will serve as the exclusive gaming chair partner of NSG.
