Video game developer Moonton recently announced it had expanded its Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Professional League (MPL) to include Brazil. This signifies the first MPL competition that will take place outside of Southeast Asia.
The inaugural season of the league will feature eight total teams competing for a $30K prize pool. Six teams will be invited to participate in the league while two additional squads will be selected from the event’s open qualifier round.
To celebrate this competition, Moonton announced it had partnered with TikTok Live! As part of this deal, the competition will be broadcast on TikTok, Facebook, Nimo TV, Twitch, and YouTube.
The qualifying round for MPL Brazil will commence on July 16th. The league’s regular season is scheduled to conclude on September 19th.
