Report Indicates China’s Gaming Market Will Be Worth More Than $70B By 2025

According to research from Safe Betting Sites, revenue from gaming in China will hit $49.3 billion by the end of this year. Furthermore, the Chinese gaming market is expected to be worth $71.2 billion by 2025.

“China’s position as the world’s leading gaming market has been well-established for a time and was further solidified after 2020’s pandemic,” said Rex Pascual, the esports editor at Safe Betting Sites. “The growth of the mobile games and the gaming networks segments will only continue as advances in cloud gaming are made, ensuring that they continue to be primary growth drivers for the entire Chinese video game industry for years to come.”

The report showed that mobile gaming grew by 26% from 2019 to 2020. As a result, the Chinese mobile gaming market generated $35 billion in revenue last year. This figure is expected to hit $41.5 billion by the end of this year.
