Research & Markets recently added a new report to the company’s offerings. The study, called “Latin America Mobile Gaming Market – Growth, Trends, COVID-19 Impact, and Forecasts”, showed the expected growth of the Latin American mobile gaming market from 2021 to 2026.
The survey showed that the mobile gaming market in Brazil was worth $1.48 billion in 2020. Furthermore, the Argentinian market was valued at $446 million last year.
“The mobile gaming market in this region is competitive due to the presence of a few dominant players such as Activision, Konami Holdings, Riot Games, etc,” the report read. “Moreover, major companies are focusing on developing advanced technology to create a unique differentiation from its other competitors.”
According to the Ministry of Culture in Argentina, 70% of new phone users played video games. Moreover, almost 60% of those surveyed said they preferred to play mobile games.
