Not long ago, Microsoft unveiled plans to launch new hardware that allows people to hook up the company’s “Netflix-like cloud gaming service” to TVs. This news comes after the organization began rolling out its Xbox Cloud Gaming Service, xCloud, back in April.
The organization has a few plans to expand to Television. Microsoft said it will be partnering with specific technology manufacturers to add cloud gaming services to smart TVs. The company also explained it will develop streaming devices that can be plugged directly into televisions.
Furthermore, Microsoft said it will begin working with mobile communications providers to bring Xbox’s new subscription models to gamers across the globe. The business also told CNBC it plans on expanding its cloud gaming services in Australia, Mexico, Japan, and Brazil.
