On September 9th, Complexity Gaming announced it had signed GX3, the all-female professional VALORANT sqaud. As a result of this deal, the two parties have launched a new team that will be called Complexity GX3.
Complexity GX3 will continue to participate in the VALORANT Champions Tour (VCT) Gamer Changers circuit as originally planned. The team will aim to further expand gender equality in the global VALORANT community.
“GX3 uniquely embodies our organization’s core values, and we’re thrilled to welcome them into the Complexity family,” said Jason Lake, the CEO of Complexity Gaming and the Global Head of Esports for GameSquare. “The squad’s competitive credentials coupled with their growing platform for female empowerment have the potential to shake up the gaming world in a major way.”
GX3 was founded in 2002. The newly formed team, Complexity GX3, will make its global debut at the VCT Game Changers Qualifiers on September 24th.
